Mrs. Cavanaugh Assistant Principal Union Pleasant Elementary School

I am deeply honored and excited to serve the Union Pleasant Elementary School community as Assistant Principal.  With 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working in various educational settings, including district and agency schools, with a strong focus on special education. My journey in education has been driven by a deep commitment to fostering social, emotional, and academic growth in every student.

My philosophy centers on empowering students to reach their full potential by creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. I believe that when we address the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically—we lay the foundation for lifelong success. I am excited to offer my knowledge in special education and my passion for student empowerment to UPES.
